OPT apprived(effect on Oct) and 140 pending, is it safe to file yushushu2007-07-19 19:32:07

Both OPT approval notice and card have been received,but it will take effect on October. Is there any risk of filing I-485 while my sponse's I-140 is pending? Will filing I-485 revoke the approved OPT?
