I have got everything ready for I485 filing (with 140 pending under NIW). However, something is drawing my attention with my visa status: I need to change my job title recently (maybe withing few weeks), accordingly, I have to apply a new H1b visa for the new position. However, the new job still remains exactly in the 这里输入你要的文字same department and university for the same job (just different title). I heard that it needs 180 days to do a H1B visa transfer after filing I-485 and would like to know if this is truly correct. If yes, the policy is applicable to my case? If I file I-485 now, is there any problem with my I485 and/or new H1B application in the future?
