I have learned a lot from this forum. Please share my information:
Vermont Center:
I-140, I-485 concurrently submitted in June, 2005, based on NIW, filed by myself.
I-140 approved in 20 days.
First FP done in Sept., 2005.
No update since then.
Appointment with Infopass on 06/17, 2007, showing pending on name-check. Officer said to send note to remind FBI.
Second FP done on 07/02/07. Update 5 days later showing FP review was completed.
Checked with Infopass a week ago, still pending on name-check.
Noon yesterday, received emails from USCIS, saying I-485 approved for all family members.
Last night, received emails saying that cards are in production.
It seems that the USCIS system does not keep the information up-to-date.
I sincerely thank everybody in the forum for sharing information and experience. As was noticed by many fellows here, many petitioners have been pre-assigned with visa numbers during the 'crazy period'. If you are in the pool, you may get it in this a couple of months.
