I was a F-1 when I married to a citizen in Feb. We live in two cities 100 miles apart. We filed 485 in March, I got EAD & fingerprint in April. We just got the notice for interview in June. Now I am still looking for a job. My hu*****and lost his job two months ago two weeks after we filed 485. The questions are
1. Is it matters we both are unemployed at this moment? He is on unemployment benefit. INS wanted the last 6 pay stamps.
2. Should we let INS know we are still live separately in two cities? Since it is easier for us to find a new job in our own city. We thought at least one of us should find a job first, then another can move over. We see each other every weekend, sometimes during the week too.
3. We haven't gotten the chance to have joint account/credit card etc. (no community income). But I am on his health insurance. On what do they base to judge the marriage is real?
4. INS wanted phone log. What is this?
5. We didn't have a wedding. Is it ok?
6. What kind of typical questions will be asked during the interview?
