hi I am currently H-1B holder for about 2 years, I also just got my MBA degree a few weeks ago(so I was doing MBA couses and full time worked in last 2 years), now I will be laid off from my current company within 3 weeks(so I will lose H-1B status very soon), does anyone know if people can apply for OPT ( for my Master degree) from H-1B status. I know there is no problem from F-1 to OPT, but how about from H-1 to OPT???? is this feasible or possible?? really thanks a lot.
