Hi friends, I just received a letter from CIS answering my inquiry about my delayed I-485. The letter is like this:
"The processing of your application has been delayed. All petitions/applications reeived by this Service are required to have routine security checks that are resulting in delays of the adjudication of petitions/applications. We can ive nodefinite indication of when thely will be completed. We apoloziaze for the delay."
On the same day, my wife also got a letter, but with different content:
"Your appplication was received at the Texas Service Center and is currently pending Service consideration. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by mail upon revieve of your case."
Has any friend received the similar letters, could you please give me some hint or explanation on this? Thanks a lot!
