Applications and petitions for immigration benefits in July 2007 increased 21 percent compared to the number received in July 2006. July approvals increased by 6 percent, denials decreased by 22 percent, and pending increased by 4 percent compared to July 2006.
Applications and petitions for immigration benefits in August 2007 increased 2 percent compared to the number received in August 2006. August approvals decreased by 10 percent, denials decreased by 20 percent, and pending increased by 8 percent compared to August 2006.
