LG is being laid off. 140 is not approved yet. 485 pending less 200706042007-10-17 15:54:16

LG is being laid off today, 140 is pending for more than 5 months, and 485 are pending less than 180 days. EAD was filed a couple weeks ago. What we should do now? Can he transfers to a new H1B if he can find another job and still maintain the current 485 filing?
