b1/b2 visa extention question ccpdead2007-10-27 02:18:12

My wife and I are here on B1/B2 visa, both of our visas are valid until June 2008. we get a three months stay stamp(B1) at the port of entry. Now we are thinking about extend our stay for another three months. I wonder should we file the I-539 togather? Or we can go to Mexico: surrender the old I-94 and turn around and re-enter the US immediately to get a new I-94?
