I have a friend whose current H-1B is sponsored by a consulting company. But the company has not gave her any jobs to do for a while so she has not been paid, hence no pay check stub.

Now she got an offer from another company who is willing to transfer her H-1 visa. But without previous pay check stub, is it possible for her to get the H-1B transfer ? Also the lawyer from the new company thinks she has been out of status since she is not paid. Is it true ?

Many, many thanks.
