Questions:
1.I just realized that my second renewed EAD expired on Aug 2007 and I forgot to renew until today. Renew application was sent this morning. The tough part is I have been working in the past two years. How should I explain the situation to immigration officer on Dec 10 with an expired EAD?

2.Is this interview the final stage of I-485? will I be likely be denied because I have been working with an expired EAD in the past couple of months?

3.Should I inform my employer to suspend my job inmediatlly? I've been working on two important projects. Suspending my job will do serious damage to the company and my carreer.

I really appreciate your quick response and recommendations.
