How to back US from China with an expired adjustment status (AP) xiaoxiaowang2007-11-22 05:46:55

I am at adjustment status(I-485 pending for EB1), now I am at China. I was holding an valid AP back to China at Aug, but the AP was expired at 10, october, 2007. Since my father was very sick, I have to be with him for a couple of months. Now what should I do to keep my adjustment status and back to US?
