I am on H-1B 6th year and need a renewal soon. My employer filed I-140 for me (no I-485). Also I am a derivative on my hu*****and's I-485 filing. Right now if I want to renew my H1-B, can I use my I-140 and get 3 years renewal? Or I have to use my hu*****and's I-485 filing?
Could you please help? Thanks in advance!
