My Mother's B2 visa application experience, and help!! natureprotector2007-11-30 15:09:19

My Mother did not get her B2 visa yesterday, Beijing. It was the black girl. She asked for my mother's B2 extension approval letter last time when she came to the US in 2003. Unfortunately, I did not attach that documment in the application. So it seems if parents got extension of stay, that document is very necessary to be attached. Now my questions for your help:
(1) It seems that they did not have a visa decline seal on my Mom's passport. Is her application declined? Or just need more documents? But they did not give her any further instructure, and seems did not return her the receipts.
(2) I have lost the extension approval letter from USCIS. Besides filing the I-824, is there any other way to request a copy? Any help will be very appreciated!!
