I am currently F1, taking a faculty position at a California university starting this fall.
1. I guess I can work on either H1 or OPT. Which one will facilitate application for the green card? Other pros & cons?
2. Will my wife lose her F2 status when I change my status from F1 to H1?
3. She is attending some college on a F2 status. I heard it takes more than 4 month to change from F2 to F1. I understand that she could go to school if switching to H4.Can she later apply for F1 after getting H4? We might separate in the future, e.g., I might go to Asia.
