My fiance and I are getting married at the end of the Feburary. He is a U.S. citizen, I am currently H-1B holder.

My H-1B is expiring in this May.

I am asking opinions on whether I should renew my H-1B, which cost 2000 dollars out of my pocket. Or apply EAD while we turning in I-485?

Usually how soon can I receive the EAD?
