My current H1B document(A797) is going to be expired in January 04. I am seeking another postdoc position, and a professor in a different univ. is likely to offer my a position starting from January 04. But he asked me "Do you have any authorization to work in USA"? It seems he hesitate if I ask to apply for a new H1B.
In order to persuade him to give me this offer Can I:
1. just tell him that I am holding a H1B visa, and it is renewable?
2.What's the different between H1B renewable and transferable? Is my current H1B (will expire 01/03) also transferable?
