You mentioned that "they may process your case but not approve 485 till PD current".
Here is my situation:
My PD( I-140 EB1a ) is 12/XX/05;
RD (I-140 Receipt Date) is 12/XX/05;
My I-140 approved on 6/XX/06;
FP is 7/XX/06;
I-485(EB1a) Received on 7/XX/06;
Asked senator Hillary Clinton for help to inquire our NC about a year ago and she did, but it didn't have any improvement because of so many people have exactly the same name with us.
0n Dec. XX,2007, we got message from USCIS. It said that "The last processing action taken on your case" and "Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Sent".
We see EB1a is Current. Does PD still matter or not?
On 1/07/08, USCIS received our new Evidence.
