long journey finally coming to an end...
here is my experience I'd like to share with you.

-filed I 485 based on marriage to US citizen in Dec 2004.
-USCIS submitted name check request to FBI in June 2005.
-filed WOM (Writ of Mandamus) in Houston Texas in March 2007.
-Wrote letter to US senator and USCIS Ombudsman Office in Nov 2007.
-US Attorney assigned to my WOM case requested Cannon Declaration from FIB in
Nov 2007.
-Received letter from USCIS dated Dec 31 2007, stating my name check has been cleared!

I am scheduled for fingerprints on 22nd of Jan 2008.

Good luck to all of you who are still in this journey.
my advice to you -- fight for your right! If you don't take
action for yourself, who will?!

I wrote to Ombudsman, but made inquiry with USCIS, not with FBI
