最近单位特别优惠我们,给工龄6个月以上的每位职工立一个养老帐户,每月对等储存到职工的帐号里可高达7.5%。比如我每月存$100,单位也拿出$100存入我的帐号。我存$300,单位对等给$300到我帐户,直到退休。并且是不上税的工资。
但是,存款必须是连续性的,一旦决定存$100,那么每月$100不能中断,年龄不到59.5岁不能取,除非被单位解雇,或者其他无法抗拒的理由,比如死亡,否则罚款很厉害。我开始非常踊跃,打算每月从工资里扣$100,都和他们one-on-one 谈了(先是集体培训).
但现在我很犹豫不决。想到一旦要了单位匹配的存款,我得永远为这个单位效劳。这意味着我将失去选择更好工作的机会,意味着单位将控制我,更意味着我将失去其他很多的自由。
