My mom visited me from China last September and wanted to extend her Visa B2 for another 6 months. I checked I-539 form, and found I need to write the statement to answer the following 3 questions:
1. Reasons for your request
2. Why you extended stay would be temporary, including what arrangement you have made to depart from the United States.
3. Any effect the extended stay may have on your foreign employment or residency.
I am not sure how to answer these questions properly.
