我的护照是2009年1月5号过期，现在在一所非盈利机构做博士后，上周报H1b申请材料到秘书，我刚才看radiology贴子，说尽管我申请是3年的，移民局也只批到我的护照的过期日。是这样的吗？如果是这样的，我叫lawyer 收回我的申请，等待我的护照extension date another 5 years.
