What tax return form to file while I485 is pending??? 1040 or 10 krestin2008-02-17 22:08:39

Does anybody know whether to file 1040 or 1040NR tax return while I485 application is pending?

I usually file 1040 since I qualify the 183 days substantial presence test. However, since I filed my I485 this year, I am not sure what to file.

Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

1040A for simple deduction; 1040 for detailed deductions
