Can my employer sponsor my green card without a H1B? 33333333332008-02-21 22:38:43

I'm currently working on a EAD card from the green card application of my hu*****and. My current employer agrees to sponsor a new employment-based green card for me. Since I don't have a H1B visa right now, can I go to the green card application directly?
