I just finished my Nursing degree at Harvard U, here's my plan to work in the US and get green card. Please check for me to see if there's any potential problem.
1. I would like to work in the northeast, I already obtained a U.S. RN license, will start applying for a Visa Screen.
2. file for OPT, receive OPT card in August.
3. Search for jobs in northeast which will sponse GC, hopefully get a offer in 1-2 month, my visa screen will arrrive during the time.
4. Work under OPT for 3-4 months, then start filling for GC, file I140 + I485 + I131 + I765 concurrently.
5. Receive EAD and AP in 3 months, use EAD for working
6. Receive I140 in 9 months
7. Renew EAD and AP after one year, may travel to Mexico or China in the mean time
8. I485 approved after two years
