Based upon FY 2007 PERM Statistics(www.immigration-law.com), China has 6846 perms certified. So we can assume that there are around 7000 perms for Chinese in FY 2006. Amoung them 3500 perms are EB2 plus around 600 NIWs. We have more than 4000 total EB2 in 2006. If each family has 2.8 average persons, we need 11200 visa number for 2006 only. The current law only grants 2800 for Chinese EB2 each year, so we must wait for 11200/2800 = 4 years. Am I right?
