Here is my case: I changed the job after 180 days with I-485 pending (I-140 approved) using AC21 and currently am getting RFE since I changed my address.
The new job has almost exactly same deion with the old job (job title changed from web developer to applications developer but the work is same). The problem I had is that the new salary is much higher than the old one (jumped from 50k to 100k) due to: 1) I moved from a low living cost area (Maryland) to a high living cost area (NYC) and 2) I applied LCA 6 years ago (6 years ago I only had 1-year working experience so the pay was low but my final salary with the company was 67k in last year, however, the LCA showed the lower salary I had in 2002).
Do you see any case was denied due to much higher salary? I am talking with my lawyer and want to get a better lawyer to handle it since I am not comfort with the current lawyer’s ability /experience.
