Travel abroad or convert to H4 due to late PERM JZ0311052008-03-09 15:53:29

Hello,

My H1's max out date is 1/30/09, my PERM filed on 2/15/08-- 16 days later than required 365 days before the expiration of H1.

2 Options for me now:
1. Travel abroad for 3 weeks and come back to recapture the time.
2. Convert to H4 wait for 3 weeks and then convert back to H1 to the same company.

Any advice is appreciated.

option 1 is good, our H1 just extend 4 months
