I accepted a contract job offer from staffing company (or say recruiter) last week. The job (in the direct hiring company) is similar to the job deion in my I140 application (I140 approved already, I485 pending more than 18 months). I will be employee of the staffing company. I would ask:
My PR portability is OK for a contract job, and as employee of a staffing company?
Should I actively ask the new employer (the staffing company) to send letter of employment verification with similar job deion to CIS the first day I start to work?
(my I140 has not been withdrew yet by my previous employer so far. I believe it is close to being issued the GC based on the new FBI name check policy)
