Finally got welcome email from USCIS this morning at 10:15am for both my wife and myself!
Here is our brief information.
1.Filed 485 and 140 on Aug. 4th, 2005 based on EB1b in NSC.
2.Got approval for 140 on Sept.6th, 2005.
3.Long waiting since 140 got approval. Did finger print twice. Nov. 2005 and March 2007.
4.Called NSC and went to inform pass couple of times. Always was told that name check pending.
5.Sent fax to NSC regarding MEMO for name check on Feb. 14, 2008. Got letter from NSC on around March 14, 2008 saying they acknowledges my inquiry via fax and they are working based on new guidance on 485 but can't predict when our cases will be worked.
6.Soft LUD on Feb. 14th, 15th and 16th on USCIS web site.
7.Got welcome email on March 31th, 2008. MEMO does work!
P.S. Yesterday we went out for dinner with some good friends. And the fortune cookie I got said "You will get something you have been looking for". What a amazing prediction. I think we should go to that Chinese Restaurant more often!
