Many big companies in USA have a 2-to-1(or 1-to-1) donation match-up program. This means if you work in such a company and donate $1 to "China Earthquake" via American Red Cross (1-800-HELP NOW, http://american.redcross.org), China Red Cross will get $3 (or $2) for the earthquake rescue finally! You can also deduct your donation from your 2008 tax. Please contact your HR department and get match-up information first. Then you can call 1800helpnow to make the donation. Please make sure you designate your money to "China Earthquake" when you call American Red Cross (1-800-HELP NOW). American Red Cross online donation form doesn't give you this option, except "International Fund" option. So you need to call and make the donation to "China Earthquake" directly.
