I am currently on H1-B and may get laid off in the near future. I have filed Eb1-(a) 140 and am wondering if I should file I485 to keep my status as AOS during the period of being laid off?
My question is If I am on AOS and find a job, could I file H1-b transfer to get back to h1-b status while not affecting my I485 application?
Please help answer my questions.
