I just had my I-140 (Eb1a) approved but decide to resign from my current US job and go back to work in China for an European company in a couple of months. I may come back to USA for a new job if I could obtain my green card through consular processing route. I would appreciate if you could help me with the following questions:
1.What is the chance that they will approve my application since I won't have a US job then (I may be able to get another offer. )?
2. I should file I-824 now and once I get the receipt, I should be able to file with Guangzhou consulate via AC21 (no need to wait for USCIS to approve and transfer my case to NVC, right?)
3. If I come back to US a couple of years later with another non-immigrant work visa, can I still use this approved I-140 to file I-485?
