I am in a unique situation. I have my H1B through the subsidiary company A and now the parent company B, decides to take over the subsidiary payroll and managment. Even they are belong to the same owner, but they have different company name and Employee Tax IDs. My question are:
1)The parent company B will only take over subsidiary company A's paypoll, but not asset and liabilities. Is it consider merger, acquisition, or consolidation; Even They are the same owner?
2)The only difference for me is the paystubs I will get will be under Company B title and my W2 form will file as this company B in the future too. Since I'm holding Company A's H-1B, will I be considered as out of status after the take over of payroll by Company B?
3. Is there any action I should take now? If yes, should I just need to admend my current H1-B Visa status or I have to completely the H1-B transfer?
Please, please help and I need your advice!! Appreciate!
