my son tried to reenter to US from CANADA, but the US officer did not allow him to come back at first,due to:
1. he used AP, but officer said it is invalid AP(but some of them said is valid), I am confused, could you verify if it is valid?
AP applied and valid from 4/02 - 4/08. 8/07 my son used it to reenter US, which is ok. and the officer wrote the new date which is valid until 8/2008. so 6/08, my son used it to reenter US, they said it is invalid, is it ture?
2. I thought if AP is invalid, he may use H4 to come back, my son has H4 and AP. but they said he does not has H4 visa, so still can not come back. Originally, my son has F2 visa and came to US, since then he changed from F2 to H4 in US, 2002 we used H4 went to CANADA and came back without any problem (in 30days, no H4 visa). why this time he can not use H4 to come back (in 30days) and have to have a H4 visa.?
eventurlly, they set this as a emergency case, which waived his H4 visa and let him reenterd US. Is this erergency case going to affect his US GC process? he should be still dependent on his father's US GC process , right? (his father applied AP fir him, I applied H4 for him)
