Can I apply for SSN for my child living in China eclamshell2008-07-08 04:04:34

I am GC holder. My daughter lives with my ex-wife in china. I plan to apply SSN for her. I have supported her for long time and just heard that I can apply a SSN and have taxable income deduted. Anybody has such experience or know how to process?
