My wife left US without AP, and she got green card because I got it. Attorney said green card is defective and could be confiscated by INS anytime. Is that right? She left US with H4 status, but in China, H4 needs to re-stamp every time. How is she going to do? Thanks.

Since she was in H-4 status, her leaving prior to AP approval -
