我是公民。我妈持B-2签证来美。入关给了六个月签证。现在居留了三个月。我打算给她转身份办绿卡。如果我现在给她递交绿卡申请的话，可能要半年到一年时间才能拿到。

到时，她的B-2签证早已过期，我是否需要在给她申请绿卡后给她办延期？在绿卡申请期间，B-2签证过期，是否会影响最后的面试？是否属于非法居留？
