I didn't show up for my first citizenship interview, and wrote USCIS a letter explaning that I was reconsidering the application. Now they scheduled another interview for me on the coming Wednesday (they simply don't give up, ha ha). I no longer have incentives to become a US citizen (my parents and siblings in China are not interested in immigrating to US, my hu*****and and son are both US citizens already), and I intend not to show up again. I just want to know if there is any consequences of doing so, and if I am making a mistake giving up US citizenship.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated!
