My daughter's 485 was denied yesterday. I don't know for sure the reasons so far because the notice is still on the way, but I guessed it might be related to delayed finger-print notice, which I haven't received till now.
Nov. 12, I got a notice on the USCIS website saying notice returned undeliverable, asking me to call USCIS for help or address update
Nov. 18, I called USCIS. A lady answered my phone. She told me that they will re-send the letter to me since they have my current address and if I haven't received this letter within 30 days then call them again.
Dec. 23, I called USCIS again and asked for help. I also checked the address they have with a representative. Surprisingly, they haven't updated my address on my daughter's 485 application since I moved one and half years ago! But the representative promised me they will re-send the letter to me in the three weeks.
Jan. 6, A denial notice was sent. I still don't know whether this letter can be correctly delivered.
I and her mother have green cards. It is USCIS's delinquency which resulted in the my daughter's 485 denial. Please give me some suggestions how to reopen this case.
Thanks a lot in advance
