Received this from lawyer today:

The USCIS has issued Requests for Evidence (RFE) in connection with the pending AOS applications on behalf of you and your spouse. Specifically, the USCIS is requesting evidence of your continuous employment authorization in the U.S. from xx/xx/xxxx to the present.

For those of you who have done this , could you help me with the following questions?

1. Do I need to ask all my previous employees to write employment verification letters? If yes, is there a template? Does I-797, I-94 and EAD serve the same purpose? Can I just give them all the approval notices and my EAD card? My first employer in US was a start-up and no longer exists.
2. Do they need original copies?

I think you only need to show what they asked

Talked to lawyer, I-797, I-94 and EAD are good enough, thanks
