Basic Info:
PD: 12/27/2007 (PERM EB2)
PERM approved in March of 2008
I140 approved in Sep of 2008.
6th year of H-1b expired on Jan of 2009
3 year H-1b extension approved before 6th year H-1b expiration,
and the new H-1b expiration is now Jan of 2012, since I140 has been approved.

Background, company will be running out of business, and am not confident to hang around with that sinking boat till I can file 485, so I'd like the change job.

Question:
1.Based on Pijiang's blog, PD can be carried over if new employer files PERM/I140/485 for me, right?
2. Can my H-1b transfer sponsored by my new employer have the same expiration date as my 3 year extension after 6th H-1b, say, valid to Jan of 2012, as mentioned above?
3. Does my new employer need to do anything else besides filing H-1b transfer for me, compared to regular H-1b transfer within 6 year period?
