PERM based EB2, I485 submitted in Aug 2007, I140 approved in June 2008, changed my job July 2008 in the same field (IT).
Got a letter from USCIS requires a employment verification letter:
“In order to determine your eligibility, please submit a letter from your new prospective permanent employer describing your employment. This letter should include your job title, the specific duties of the position, the position’s educational and/or training requirements, the date you first began employment and the wage/salary paid. This letter must be issued by an officer or executive in the organization who is authorized to confirm a job offer.”
My HR wrote a letter for me, but my lawyer said everything is fine except the educational requirement. The current position requires a Bachelor’s, while my original labor required a Master's. My HR won’t change the requirement to Master’s.
Is it ok or I will have a problem? Did I screwed?
Anyway, the letter has to be send to USCIS together with my new medical examination result.
Thanks
