I am new here and really would like some response. According to CIS website, if the marriage is longer than two years when immigration visa is granted,it will be regular GC; otherwise, it will be conditional GC. Does anyone know if this two years is from the wedding to the interview, or from the time of filing to the interview? Another thing is that we just had the interview--seems we are OK, but my case is still under FBI name checking. Does that mean my visa is not granted until the FBI checking is completed? Sorry that my sentences are all over. This situation is really complicated to explain in a few words. Any response will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
