I just started working for a global company for two months with a H1-B transfer. Last week, we got the news that the company for sure goes to insolvent and I am going to loss my job. I have no problem to find a job, but not sure how long it gonna take.
Quenstions:
1. How long is it gonna be OK for me to find my next job after my current employer takes me off from the payroll?
2. Anybody know a good lawyer in NYC area who has the expertis to handle gap issue?
3. If the company pays additional a month salary after my last day (9/1), can I count the gap from 10/1 instead of 9/1?
