我LD目前的TN将在8月18号到期， 他打算在5月底去续签三年， 请问这三年是从什么时候算起？ 是续签的当天还是现在的TN到期之日(8月18日)?
下面是我替他起草的公司信, 请大家帮忙看看有没有什么不妥的地方.
Dear Sir/Madam,
This letter is in support of xxx’s request for extension of the TN status. He has been continuing in a full-time appointment since August 25, 2008 as a Computer Systems Analyst in our xxx office. We currently wish to extend his employment for the period of three years as a Computer Systems Analysis, which will be ended no later than August 18, 2012. This position falls under the category of the Appendix 1603.D.1 of the NAFTA INS regulations.

The position of Computer Systems Analyst requires a theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge. In return for his services, xxx will receive a bi-weekly base salary of $xxxx ($xxxx annualied).
