I-485 体检有效期是多长？
按USCIS的说法：
“For adjustment of status applicants, the endorsement of a civil surgeon
on Form I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status,
is valid for one year. Some adjustment of status applications that are properly
filed with a Form I-693 are pending for more than the one-year validity
period.
Due to the continuing backlog of some adjustment of status applications,
the validity of the civil surgeon’s endorsement on Form I-693, when filed
concurrently with Form I-485, is extended until the adjustment application
is adjudicated, if no Class A or Class B medical condition is certified.
This policy is in effect until January 1, 2005.”
我的理解是：
如果I-485是在 2005之前交上的，则体检有效期是直到I-485被判决。
可本坛一律师的说法是：
“绿卡体检表有效期延至2005年1月1日
由于调整身份为永久居民时需通过的健康体检表(Medical Certification I-693),审
核案件在USCIS积压过多，未免令申请人的体检表(一年有效期)过期失效要重新递交
而造成不便，USCIS指示正在处理的体检表有效期可延长至2005年1月1日审核完毕。
