I have a question on H1-B transfer
Laid off in 09/2008. Found a new job and started working in 11/2008 with EAD.
I am thinking about get H1b transferred from old employer to current employer. My H1b was first approved in 07/2003. The last approval notice was to 07/2010 based on LC and I140.
My question is can my new employer apply for H1b transfer with the gap from 10/2008 till now? do i need to leave and re-enter to get the H1 status?
