H-4 pending如何出境 tiantiantian 文学城

My H-1 expired on Aug 2004. My H-4 status change from H-1 is still pending. I got the case notice receipt. I still have the original I-94 at hand. I'll leave US for China soon. My question is: is it ok for me to submit the original I-94 without the new one to the airport clerk?
