Hello, I handed in my application to Baffulo Canadian Consulate General in early Nov. 2003, received my first letter in late Nov. 2003, and just got my second letter early this month. Hope this helps.
I have two questions to ask for your help:
(1) About police certificate. I read some old posts, but still a little bit confusing about the process. Do I need to get two certificates, one from FBI and the other one from local police department? I am wondering whether I should do this way: first I need to send FBI a letter requesting a fingerprint card (including $18 money order), then I need to go to the local police department to get my fringer print and send the card back to FBI. Will FBI send the card back to me or will they send it directly to the immigration office?
(2) When you receive your second letter, do they ask for updated recommendation letter?
